I sure wish those Brown Ike cases didn't haze the coins like they do. I have some pretty badly hazed 1974s, which seems to be the worst year for that.
Newest addition to my Morgan toners. A very common date, but really nice colors, and a good solid 65:
Here is an ASE I just got but I could not get the colors to show very good, where the blue is on the coin looks like MOLD lol but OH well it looks good in the hand.
the woody effect happens because of the copper alloy mix pre 1982. You won't find it moderns due to the new material used for Lincoln's.
Well I enjoy toned nickels as well. In fact, I have a set that looks just like the ones you posted. However, there has been some debate on whether they would grade or not. Are any of yours graded? PS. Did this dime ever turn up that you bought from me?
One of the extra mints set I had to open to get my type 1+2 Ike's dollars for my set, has a sealed 1976 P+D Nickel + Dime toned like this but foil won't photo good. Nice Color all over this page today!! G + many more!!! :yes:Reminds me of the 1960-to 1970's color trails
No I'm bummed I filed police report but I'm sure it's gone for good... I was going to send the dime to PCGS. The half dollar and dollar were in the same package right? As far as the nickels, I sold most of them raw I was told that 3 were sent to NGC receiving 67* 66* and a 65*. I have sent some to PCGS and all 3 came back AT then I cracked out and sent just one that was in a details with other coins and it came back 66. I bought the entire album full so I know they were all NT.
