So I was driving to work yesterday and started digging change ouTht if my cup holder when I ran across a beautiful 11 cent piece. Does anyone know what the value of these coins are.
This is what I automatically think every time I see the words "11 cents", even outside the forum. It has been ruined for me forever.
Im on my phone and cant upload a picture of it its a 199? the last number I cant see cause the way it got punched both faces are on the same side and the same with the back one head is up and the other is down ill post a pic later
I joined this forum to help me find out about these coins cause I was lucky enough to find one that was given back to me as change so stop being jealous
Welcome to Coin talk.. SHOW US THE PICTURE OF YOUR 11c piece...same side of a coin or a flip over one? what date? circulated/uncirculatred? How much details of your 11c? Two full dates? BTW i am not jealous too. But I can figure out the value of your 11 cent piece. WELCOME to Coin Talk..
Ill post a picture of it in the morning after I get off work im unable to do it on my phone. It is a circulated coin as I said I got it as change and just tossed it into my cupholder before I found it the date on it is 199_ I havent been able to see the last digit I can only see the one partial date it was minted in philadelphia
Prehaps its me but there seems to be a lot of envy about this coin. Id lie if i said i didnt want to own one and i think that the owner of said coins have a right to show it off and be proud to be the owner of one. Just strange there never seems to be this kind of envy over the other coins that are shown here on coin talk.
so the obverse is cupro-nickel, the reverse is copper and you took pictures of the each side using a different color background... interesting...
its all silver i think its the light or maybe just the background i was at work when i took them trying to find the best background for them
