My favorite is Hap Arnold, as the only Air Force general to hold five-star rank, and the only person to hold a five-star rank in two different U.S. military services. He was taught to fly by the Wright Brother. He saw the future in radar, the jet fighter and long range bombers and he lead the Army Air Force to help defeat the Axis over the skies of Europe. The other reason I chose Hap, is my interest in WWII Army Air Force History and service by family members in the Eighth Air Force.
