Awesome! Well heres the story. I only got 175 $ bucks and decided, that I am going to try to go to as many antique stores, or banks, including coin roll hunting, and I will not take any risks, and will buy everything from non specialized coin stores which I can flip easily for a profit. I iwll not lose a cent. My goal is to get a MS65 RB Indian Head Cent or semi key date Wheat MS66,65 R cent. Graded. I want to turn 175 bucks to 350 or higher, and I will do that by buying super cheap silver, and I know where to get it far below melt.

Anyways, besides that I spent 28 $ of that in face value Uncirculated bank notes. I bought 14 2 $ bills, and below ill write them down and I was wondering what they were worth. The bank teller had like 8 or 10 more, but they were pretty beat up so I didnt think they had much premium. 12 of them are GEM bank notes, with Gem centering, and have great eye appeal, but the other two have slight wear in the center, but not anything major at all. Im not a bank note expert, but SOme bills I believe could grade 68 and higher. If you want me to take pictures i can. On this one 2 dollar bill I bought Ive been examining it for 30 minutes now, and I see nothing of any sort of wear. Its perfect. No folds, Perfect corners. Heck mabye its a 70. Anyways I would like your opinion on these notes, and if I did well. I suppose at face value I couldnt go wrong at all. No star notes, and I would like you to list retail on each note, and wholesale, (what I can expect to get paid for each at a coin store) my mom came up with the great idea to go to the coin store, a brand new coin store that is 2 miles from home.

    So here goes nothing:

    Series 2003 A Ms 62, mabye 63 or 64. 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 40999327 A

    Series 2003 A Ms 64+ mabye 65 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 40999325 A

    Series 2003 Ms 60 2 $ Bank of Minnesota (I) I 04664263 A

    Series 2003 A Ms 60 mabye 61 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 47772757 A

    Series 2003 A Ms 64, mabye 65 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 47772763 A

Series 2003 A Ms 70 (I believe to be perfect, no wear visible under magnification at all, or any imperfections) 2 $ Bank Of Atlanta Georgia (F) F 18728845 A

    Series 2003 A Ms 69 2 $ Bank of Atlanta Georgia (F) F 18728844 A

    Series 2003 A Ms 69+ 2 $ Bank of Atlanta Georgia (F) F 18728843 A

    Series 2009 Ms 70 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 06824556 A

    Series 2009 Ms 69 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L 06924558 A

    Series 2009 Ms 69 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L02325119 A

    Series 2009 Ms 70 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L06824557 A

    Series 2009 Ms 70 2 $ Bank of San Fransisco (L) L06824560 A

as far as i can see there isn't anything special. not sure on the 2009 notes though. they are not in the book i have. just as a heads up notes are not considered MS. that is only on coins. i doubt they are 70's though. you very rarely see bank notes graded 70. even if they are straight off the brick. also just so you know the different letters stand for the different reserves, not the bank of. if you can afford to keep them go for it. just no premium :thumb:

So if I go to sell it to a coin shop, they well pay me face value?Hmm thats dissapointing. Mabye ill just get some currency albums and just put them there.

I find much better deals at specialized coin dealers as you call them. Every antique store i go to has junk morgans for 50.00 and 1940's wheaties for .50 cents

Surpised. I can pay 50-70 % silver melt for junk silver coins. I bought a proof 1993 S quarter for 4 bucks from them, which I believe is about 70-75 % melt plus its a proof. Coin dealers sell for retail, and I usually cant sell it to another coin store at all and profit, but that might work differently for you since you may be a coin dealer and can sell for retail not wholesale.

You are most likely looking at face value. However, why are you fiddling around with the notes when you write that you know where to buy silver at "far below melt"?

I'm sorry but I cannot believe that someone in their right mind running a business is selling silver at 50% melt let alone 75%. They would have zero inventory because it would be bought up!

Well, its slightly complicated. I was just doing my daily coin roll hunting exchange, and Im fiddling with these notes because I thought they were special. And heres the story. Her husband owns a coin candy and auntique store, where she sells candys and "confections" and her husband sells auntiques. Well they just made the store, and Her husband was an avid coin collector but stopped collecting for the last 20 years. He bought lots of silver, and doesnt know they are worth that much now. She asked me to call them every week and call them if they find some coins, and I did. 2 days ago I called, and she found a bunch of coins. So I was plannigh to go there today, but since im still just a kid mom says she doesnt want to go today Because it was in the opposite direction then where we were going shopping, so tommorow im going to the auntique stores and going to the Coin Buyer store that just opened recently. So the problem is I have to wait for them to find all of the coins till I can stop by. My plan tommorow is to go buy as much silver as i can for cheap then sell to the coin buyer store, or my other coin store for a 80-90 % melt evaluation.(hopefully) and profit as much as I can. I hope that answers your question.

Its amazing for me though! They dont know what they have. And, its not a coin store, its a candy and auntique store, where they never released any coins besides a couple wheaties to sell, and when they saw me and how I was interested in coins they said they might have some. Its not the majority of there buisness, if you understand.

Why dont you educate them as to what they have, and offer a fair price so they are not cheated and you can still make some money. Karma is a good thing to have on your side

I'm assuming "choice uncirculated two"... a "dealer" should know that, right.

let me guess, when you were eleven you spent all your money on useless junk toys That are worth nothing these days. Not collecting coins.

This did not happen just once. Ive been buying from them for weeks now every time they clean or uncover new coins.

*Facepalm* anyways people like you tend to assume things..... Have you ever thought about asking a question before you think something is true?

I used to play with toys, (when I was 6,7 ) and, I never actually liked it. I thought it was stupid and boring. But I understand many kids like to play with toys. I dont.
