...what US coins have gone up in price the most in the last ten years? What coins have gone down in price?
What do you mean? Morgan dollars have raised quite a bit value since 10 years due to silver, and most modern day proof sets usually decrease in value. Do morgans count as silver or no?
Up: 2001 Buffalo Commemorative, 2011-D Uncirculated Army Half Dollar, 2009 Ultra High Relief, 2011 25th ASE Set, 2006 20th Anniversary Set, 2008 Fractional Gold Buffalos. Down: 1999 Silver Proof Set (specifically the 1999-S Delaware), 2001-S Sacagawea Proof ... these are just off the top of my head
I'll bet War Nickels have gone up a lot in value. They must not have had a lot of value to begin with, so the bounce of the price of silver may have helped.
I'm talking about the increase or decrease in price on it's collectable factor alone, not on the price of silver or gold.
I can't say specifically what coins have gone up the most, but just about every US coin there is went up 300% or more in the last 10 years. And on the other side of that coin, just about every US coin there is has lost a good bit of those gains, some losing 50% or more of it, in the last 5 years.
