Good Lord in my whole life ? Never kept track of it. Most definitely in 6 figures but that covers a pretty large range. 'Course I don't spend a dime on them anymore, don't even own any anymore.
I'm probably some where in the $100,000 range but I've been collecting since 1954. Don't regret a penny...oops, cent!...of it either. It's been a fun ride. Bruce
Sorry for the Russian - it was a cleaned up version of what I was really thinking in Russian at the moment - the sort of Russian you don't learn in school.
I've spent in the neighborhood of $50k, but have over double that in value. I've done lots of "trading up" over the years. I've been blessed that most other trading partners/collectors have been real good to me over the years.
Idk, between coins an coin books? Somewhere between 50 and 100k i suppose. I do not sell really, so have almost all of them still.
I screwed up already. When I read the lead title of the post, I thought they were wanting to know how much $$$ I spent on coins tonight! Of course the numbers jump once you consider my lifetime spending. These are just a few points I needed to know before I voted. Oh well.
Only about $1,500 for me as I just started collecting again late last year. I was a kid when I first collected so I didn't spend anything myself. I do some roll searching and like you find deals at flea markets so my collection is probably worth $2,500. I know it peanuts compared to most on here, but I only spent about $1,500 for about $2,500 worth of value.
