I understand that without the coin in hand and more than two photos no man can truly tell.... But this one looks PL to me at best. Looks like there are mirrored fields and frosted devices, bad carbon spots and plenty of hits, but??? http://www.ebay.com/itm/130866404882?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 P.S. I did not win this coin, only curious (my green beer and I)
Although I agree it looks PL in that listing, I think those photos exaggerate the contrast... I don't think the cameo will be that heavy in-hand.
The contrasting looks juiced to make it appear ultra cameo. I think the coin is less mirrored in hand, and probably has too many marks/hits to justify the DMPL.
The mirrors clearly don't meet the reflectivity criteria. That picture has been photoshopped to increase contrast.
I agree. I am not sure we can make an accurate decision as to whether a coin is PL or DMPL just from a pic. Like kookoox said, the photo could be juiced somewhat.
What is ANACS' standards for designating any coin PL, or DMPL? We know PCGS says, PL is fields are reflective up 6" and DMPL up to 8", what does ANACS say?
