Great coin all around: superb bust and Pegasus, clear legends, smooth surfaces. Well-done!

    Dupondii...

Well, the moment you start seeing flying elephants, it's time to quit drinking and join the AA...:D

Btw, how do you "accidentally" buy a coin? Is that like "accidentally" having an affair?

    Beautiful!

I was thinking about bidding on it myself after the Roman Republican Bronze went out of budget :(

Didn't as I saw you were bidding on it ;)

    Pegasus!

    You're lucky I'm late...

I'm on Vacation (It's too hot here... I prefer the nice cold or cool of Canada)!

My favorite (by far) of your new purchases (even over the Carthage horse ;))

Hi WC ... thanks for the coin kudos (you absolutely "rock", my young friend)

yah, I'm very sorry that your whole Roman Republican Bronze Semin coin-thing fell-through for ya (man, I've gotta admit that was a very nice coin that you had all-lined-up!!) ... that's gotta hurt, eh?!!

=> oh well, even though I hate thinking of the coins that have "gone-by", I know that there are tens of thousands that I haven't seen yet, that'll be even better than the "Lost Boyz!!" (ummm, at least you've saved your money for your next target, right?!!) ...

Hey, it's almost kinda better that you got out-bid ... for at least you got to know and love that old Semin-target for a short time, right? ... and now you get to search and find a new "precious" ... you got the best of both worlds .... *kinda*

    :(

... yah, I'm sorry that the coin escaped your grasp ... but I can hardly wait to see your next target!!

SIDE-NOTE => thanks for not side-swipin' me and pinchin' that Hadrian coin from me (I owe ya one, dawg!!)

    :high5:

    I know I rock ;) :D

Yea, it was a beauty :(

Now to find something that would be a star of my collection along with my Carthage AE (You know which one!)

    I have saved my cash...

And am still looking for that star...

Second time I've been outbid on a coin that would have been a star of my collection :(

Third times the charm, right?

    Not really...

This one had a story behind it that I love (Hannibal in Italy)

I really want one in my collection, and will add one (eventually!)

    Nothing right now.. still looking!

    No Problem ;)

    I keep to our agreements
