Oh, had my pics mixed up with my brain, my thinking process wasn't working right here's the elephant. Just got the Whiskey Token in the mail yesterday or the day before. Looks nice to me. :thumb: I gotta get to working on my binder supreme. It's gonna hold only the best tokens I own that cost me at least $30 or I wouldn't sell for less than $30 bucks. Someone could make alot of money by only grading tokens, I'd love to have a job like that. Of course I would have to be an apprentice for awhile, maybe even years. Heck, I'd be collecting SSI by then.
Beautiful tokens as always Cheetah. I love to see your great pieces as I have a real interest in Hard Times and CWTs. I had a nice collection of both at one time but unfortunately had to sell them...such is life. Bruce
One of the Best Generals of all time in my opinion... He could have taken Germany a lot faster than he did, but the Allies didn't give him enough fuel (unfortunately) Old Blood and Guts.... He would lead from the front, and was well respected by most of his men.
Here's some thing I found way back in 72 , went on walk about in Colorado as I was expecting a draft notice and want to live a little before I was going to get shot at....was in central Colorado climbed up to the top of the continental divide and on the way down I tracked thru a trash dump of this old mining camp. I got my two feet caught up on the steel hoop /ring like thing.and fell down in the rocks. After I picked my self up I noticed that the steel ring had this tag on it.....yes a whiskey Barrel ring...the barrel long gone the steel rusted still a nice trap and a nice find for a 18 year old .
Here' my Newest Storecard I just won it's my 1st R-7 and is an AU with traces of red , Fuld NY630-3a.
Not at all to a General, but he may have gotten them during the First World War, if not the Mexican war, as they were standard issue then. Note: I have never heard of Patton using Brass Knuckles... He may have though
His tanks? :sniper: His Army Groups? :sniper: His political correctness? People have been:dead-horse: for 70 years now on that topic! His fists? Slapping the soldier (who, most soldiers I have talked to [~5 on this topic] believe deserved it and was a coward!)... That's the reason for the last two. OR, did I miss one other?
Rusty - Your 43/388 is a beauty. I was admiring yours when I realized that I have some examples. Here is one which is MS-64 BN NGC:
