My Newest Incomplete Planchet

As soon as I saw this coin I knew it was calling my name. So now it’s mine.
Not exactly sure if the date but it is copper. No zinc in this one. And it’s a double error, an incomplete planchet and a broad strike. I’m thinking it’s missing 40% of the coin.
I just had to add this one to my collection. It’s also from the Denver mint and because they have a higher standard and produce better quality coins than Philadelphia, I’m thrilled to own this. It didn’t even cost a lot either. It was very reasonable.

Very nice. I'm guessing from the look of the date, likely 1960's.

 

Having the MM and a nearly full portrait makes that a great addition to your collection

 

Super nice error coin. The spread lines are fantastic on that one. I think it is pre-1968 due to the high profile of Abe.

I have a Lincoln with this stretching happening around the whole coin. Could not get any info on. Of course yours is broad struck
