    The ancient coin depicts Athena. She is wearing a Corinthian helmet on the top of her head. If you pivot the hat then it becomes a facemask to protect Athena's face in battle. The other side of the coin is the obverse of the coin depicting Pegasos.

    The USA winged Liberty dime should need little introduction. :smile

    This is Till Eulenspiegel ... his "hat" is a fool's cap, so it's supposed to look silly or funny. :) The anniversary (500 years) refers to the publication of the book. We don't know for sure who the author was, and whether Till was a historic figure at all.
