I really really really like silver. Silver I like alot, really. Okay, if you cant tell im bored, but thats not the point. I want to make a great album of silver coins, (all of them, besides my certified specimens) and I know they have sheets to put in like 16 of the carboard 2x2s and I like the idea and design, I was just wondering if there was a specific album or binder I need to buy to store my album pages and coins, any advise please, and especially for anyone who already made a album?

    Thanks, Honest

I like to make sheets of different silver (and non silver) types of coins. I have English silver coins, French silver coins and US early 1800's, Mexican silver coins, etc. I like to fill a sheet and then fill another. I haven't gotten to the binder stage yet, since the sheets store pretty well without it.

You just want to make sure that the binder you use is labeled 'coin safe or archival quality' so you don't risk placing your coins in a binder made with potentially harmful plastics.

How can A Binder affect the coin?
Im Talking about these kinds of binders:

And if there in those 2x2 coin holding sheets, which even if the coin was raw in sheets it would protect, but if its in 2x2 carboard flips which already protect the coin, and inside the sheets which protect the carboard, and the coin, how could the coins be damaged?

Many ways, but the main reasons are primarily PVC as it gives off harmful gasses that can damage coins, and anything that can trap and contain moisture is bad (cardboard 2x2's are of course made of water-penetrable paper fiber).

Search the forum for PVC related topics, and you'll get much better explanations.
