1910 Matte Proof Lincoln (PCGS PR65BN). I posted a smaller version of this in the New Acquisitions thread a few days ago, but I thought I would post the zoomed 1100x1100 pixel images here. Such great detail and color captured. I love the wide razor sharp rims. It's also interesting how the USMint designed a larger, nearly circular 0 for the date 1910 -- that was the last time that large 0 was used -- as starting in 1920, the 0 became much narrower and more oblong. This gave the date on the 1910 Lincoln Cent a very unique look. And just to show that it doesn't always take an arm and a leg to buy a very color MPL, I bought this one for only $763 from Heritage a few months ago, about 20% below the PCGS Price Guide. Photographs by Robec.

Try telling the cent to calm down, relax, and take deep breathes. We all get a little camera shy sometimes.
