Awesome!! I was at my local downtown in my city (undisclosed) And I found a antique store, and I asked if they had any U.S. coins. They had a 1993 S Silver Washington Quarter, priced at 6 $ I haggled to 4 $ and bought it. It Looks Like a PF 63-64 With attractive orange-yellow-brown toning on obverse, just slightly not anything dramatic, but It unfortunally has hairlines which prevents a PF 67, 68 or higher grade, as far as I know. Did I do good? Value?
Yeah you did good! Anything you can buy under melt is great. Sounds like you got a pretty nice quarter.
Thats great! Im pretty sure my local coin store can bu it off me for 6 or 7 bucks, since its proof also. This was an antique store so they werent coin experts.
Silver melt value is 5.25 $ and thats today when silver is low at 29.03. When silver is at 30 mids (30.50) its about low 6.00 $ (6.10) and when silver is high at 32, 32.50 a silver quarter is 6.50-7 % just for the silver melt alone, roughly.
Unfortunally, I just tryed to take pictures, and it failed. Looks like proof coins cant be photographed with your regular HD camera! Sorry guys.
most newer phones can take decent photos. all my coin pics are with my phone. it's all about the lighting.
