Found a 1966 Kennedy sitting in a bank teller's coin holder. Currently working on 8,000 nickels.

    I think they mean a 1946 Roosie, not 46 Roosie's.

My LCS has been paying .05 a piece because they have a 'client' who sells the 'loaded' rolls on EBay and will pay them .07 a piece.

    Ah, that makes more sense!

In other news, one box of dimes yielded a 1942 80% canadian. That makes 3 80% and 3 50% canucks so far this year.

You must be in Michigan? Close to the Candian border? I rarely see and silver Canadians, only steel.

You got that off of EBAY!?!? I thought all silver was well above scrap (at least all I find anyways), but you found a whole bunch of silver under scrap PLUS some goodies???? LUCKY!!!!!!!!

Minnesota, but yes, less than 2 hours from the border. Last year's totals were 30 80% and 5 50%. I've had as many as 5 80% in a single box.

Yeah, it was miscatagorized in the 'Philippines (1898-1946)' section. I tell you what though, I was sweating it at the end - a few others threw bids in. I had it at $5.93 until the last 40 seconds!

After looking through the assorted non-silver, it turns out I got the whole 1959 proof set, minus the dime. They're all dinged up, but still pretty neat.

My bank card wasn't working at the ATM so I went into the bank to withdraw some cash. When the teller asked "how do you want that?" I of course had to get a few rolls. I got two of each. Check out the end of one of the rolls! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361914001.196083.jpg

Can't wait to go through them all!

FtB is still doing his thing and finding the goods. Based on a post on another forum - he scored a dozen or so beautifully rainbow toned IKEs from one bank

2 Boxes of Halves: Skunk and Skunk. :(

On a positive note, a bank that changed to charging me $5 per box ordered a few weeks ago told me today that because I was such a good customer, they were going to waive that fee. Not sure why I "such a good customer" because I ony have $50 in the bank and I haven't brought them any goodies or treats since they dropped the "F" word on me ("fee"...not the other one). :)
