Okay, what is wrong with you all? The Mint has a 2013 2-Coin silver ASE set listed on its release schedule for May or June and there have been no posts yet; well, none I have seen anyway.

Come on, you ASE-o-philes, there should be at least 10 pages of drivel discussing it by now. It's time to focus!

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Well, with no info from the mint other than what you've posted, all that could be posted is pure speculation.
Not that 75 page threads of pure speculation are rare here, though. :D

  4. I am thinking one reverse proof ASE and one ultra high relief ASE. :) TC

I for one will be watching. I bought the 2011 one for my son's birth year, and wife has another bun in the oven. I was thinking either this and something else, or the 2013 hockey pucks.

TC, I hope you are right with the high relief. Much better than just another regular proof.

I think it was just wishful thinking, but i would agree. I much prefer a wl half to an ASE.

they should make them inside out. where the liberty design is in the center of the coin and the outside is just plain silver.

i read some where it was going to be made at west point
@medoraman i suggested when they had that survey back a couple years ago i
think it was right after the 2011 set to have a birth set because iwas going to have a grandson in 2012 boy was i suprised when they came out with it by the way medoraman CONGRATULATIONS the birth set and hockey pucks would be a great investment 20 to 25 years from now and might as well get the ase set also
    i apolige for the rambling

Disdain the game, not the player, green.

Or, as it says in the Bible, hate the sin, not the sinner.

Or, as we say in coin collecting, buy the coin, not the slab.

That's all I can come up with for now.

Whatever it happens to be (probably just like the 2012) I'll be all over it. Now if I could just get my hands on a 2006 and a 2011 that would be fantastic.

I think the wind was taken out of a lot of people's sails when they imposed the no mintage limit with the last set. Kind of diminished their speculation dreams. Maybe thats why new set announcements aren't as talked about now.

I kind of hope it is just common ASEs in a fancy box because it's going to get to the point where we expect a "special" set every year.

A three coin set with 2013 bullion, 2013-W proof and 2013-W burnished would be fine with me.
