Here in Euroland the 10 baht coins used to be quite popular here for a while, but not because of their designs. (Some of them, especially commems, are actually very nice though.) I collect Thai, but more ancient/medieval thai coins for the most part. This is a coin from the Lanna kingdom. I also have all the different rulers of pod duang, Sukothai, Dvarti, tiger tongues, boat money, etc. Except for a couple, I believe I have about every type of medieval Thai coins save for things like gold pod duang, exceedingly rare ones, and the like. Been trying to get my Thai wife interested in coin collecting. It hasn't worked yet.
