Thnx bud, it's definitely been a work in progress and still is. I use a pretty simple setup. Single lamp, and a tripod. the only thing I use for editing is PhotoScape (probably one of the quickest and easier programs to use) and its simply for cropping the coin.
Nice coin. Details slab or graded? Looks like it had a bath a while ago, but a nice example of the series.
Thanks! It was graded. I also believe it may have been dipped at some point. Still, it received a XF45 by NGC.
Yeah, I was going to say AU 50. Close!! Definitely a keeper--most of those that are that clean were dipped, but the coin didn't suffer, as it has great eye appeal.
Just a single CFL diffused lighting most of the time on the lamp. I take the photos on the dining table (much to wife's dismay) and the room is lit by Incandescent lighting overhead. I can show you a photo of the setup if you like later this afternoon.
2012 MS-70 Buffalo I posted this coin raw a few weeks ago. I sent it out to PCGS and it came back. I was very excited to see that they graded it MS-70!!!
Another one I bought a few months ago. Cracked out from a PCGS SMS SP67 slab and resubmitted. Just came back SP68.
