Was it really polished and a little toning too, if so then it just might be the one lol

 

Nope the one I had , had seen some wear and on the back of the coin where the dates was they were kinda dented out

 

$50 brinks nickels- 2 V Nickels (my first two V's ever! and my oldest two coins from circulation!! 1905 and 1910), I think I found 1 war (really messed up and hard to tell, but I think it has a P over the dome. obverse is trashed, can't read anything), 13 other pre-60

$50 loomis/brinks mixed dimes- skunk, 2001 5 pence

 

Kennedy halves is where it's at. I get silver from them constantly. I just pulled a 1968S proof out. My last deal was a bank that had tons of halves. I asked for $500 and got over $650 in face value plus several silvers.

The hard part is finiding a bank that has them. I stopped by over 20 banks before I found this one.

I hope to have fun at work going through them, perhaps $100 at a time or 100 a day. Take them to my dumping bank near my work place.. Because I don't have a car and I barely got a single box home when I ordered from a bank near work...

 

Finally got my first ever proof from circulation, a 2004S Sac. She isn't very pretty but I'll keep her. I did my normal 200 in dollars, found 4 NIFC including the 04S and 2 2008P(My lowest mintage coin found in circulation). My $100 in quarters gave up no silver but 12 ATBs not including the other 16 Denali P's that I returned to the wild. $40 in nickels gave up no wars or anything worth mentioning besides a pretty nice 46S. I'm pretty happy for the day

Oh wow! I've been working on my first ever box of quarters the last 30 min or so! I just found a little treasure! I'm about to tear thru the rest in a hurry hoping there is more!

 

:yes:hit a little silver vein in this box! Barbers and Standing Libs!!! no silver washingtons tho....

they are all in pretty rough shape but i'm proud of them!

1900 barber is now my new oldest find from circulation, just ahead of my 1905 V nickel from yesterday! I bet I don't find anything good the rest of the month after these past two days!
