I have no problems with it. There are threads dedicated to certain series in the US Coin section. And besides if anyone wants to post ancients in both threads, I don't see that as a problem.
As always => the "table itself" is really the prize, no? => awesome coins, my good friend!! Wow, I am actually "older" than that Canadian Silver Dollar (at work, I am currently far older than everything/everybody else) => so I'm lovin' your coin, dawg!!
thanks stevex. any coin older than me is fair game for my world coin collection, i was born in 71.
Here is another recent pick up. One that I would gladly trade for 3 German Empire 5 marks. - Not sure why no one wants to trade, afterall that is a profit of 199,985 marks...
I was just thinking I overpaid for the 5 mark because it is pretty worn. It does have a good melt value though. I didn't know what the 1925 3 mark was worth until I got it home and looked it up. I was happy. Today I got a 1893 columbian exposition half dollar, my first Canadian silver dollar and a Maria Theresa thaler. What is the value of a columbian exposition half dollar? I paid $12 for it. And do any of you know how to tell what date and mint a Maria Theresa thaler is from?
I know that Iran coin has 2 types one with a Mustache one with out.buy one book its less than 20.00 ??15.95 Whitman book that will give you the hole World of World coins !!! here what it looks like.
The Maria Theresa thaler is probably a restrike. Especially if it looks real nice. I have about 8 or so of these. - If it is not a restrike, than as you would guess, it is worth quite a bit more. Why would I mind? I always enjoy looking at beautiful coins! Very nice! :thumb:
