I too have some seated coins in the Dansco 7070. Here is the dollar page. I bought the two seated dollars in Boulder Colorado while on a business trip in the early 1980s. They were graded by ANACS (not slabbed, remember the photo certificates?). Now they reside in the 7070.
Very nice collect. I don't remember the photo certificates though. I was more concerned about my go-bots and transformers in the early 80's. Nice trade dollar you have there. That is a big empty hole in my 7070 that I may look to fill at Sundays PANS show in Troy, MI.
Hello my friend, The ANACS certificate provided a third party opinion of the obverse & reverse. Most importantly (IMHO) it provided some peace-of-mind regarding the coin being genuine & problem free. Here is the certificate that was issued for one of the seated dollars. The name on the certificate is not mine but I thought it would be proper to cover it. Of course the coins were not encapsulated so anything could happen to them after the cert was issued. You needed to look carefully at the coin & confirm that it matched the cert.
Jello - Meant no disrespect by my post. And now that I have some more insight, it may make it a little easier for me to figure out your posts.
Thanks for the info collect. That is very interesting. Looks they graded a damaged coin in that example.
Hello my friend, I assume that we are supposed to post USA Seated Liberty coins so I will continue with seated Liberty coins in my 7070 album. Please let me know if we should post any seated coins because I am just chomping at the bit. Here are some seated coins from my 7070. I wish that Cave Troll would post his superior 7070 coins here. I would trade 7070 books with cave troll any day.

Not exactly what I was thought from my post. The man is a dedicated numismatist from the deep south, I don't know too many others that collect from that region.

Hello jello, I don't understand. I thought this was a thread for seated coins & now you are posting fantabulous Morgan half dollars. I will wait until I learn how to proceed.
