What's finish is better?

    So if you have 2 coins. I'll just say Kennedy halves. Both are 1995 we will say. They are both in great shape but one has a matte or satin finish and the other is very shinny not proof or anything but looks great. What one would save for the purpose of putting in an album.
    Just want to know what one you guys would pick to save. Thanks.

    Sorry I'm at work and don't have photos. More of a hypothetical question.

    The descriptives you used, "great shape" and "very shiny" are subject to many interpretations. However, hypothetically speaking, I would take the one that looks the best.

    I'd have to say what you are calling the matte or satin finish would be my choice since that was the way they were supposed to look. What you are calling very shiny makes me wonder if the coin has been polished because they were not supposed to be shiny.

    if you're collecting the series aren't you supposed to have both? or is that my o.c.d. coming out again?
