Dont know if its just me, but I feel that some may not post up some of their lower priced coins due to all the shiny, fancy and expensive coins been posted. Some of the lower priced coins are just as pretty as the expensive ones. And on top of it all, I think (and this may just be me) the lower priced coins are harder or just as hard to find than the expensive ones. Most sellers won't bother listing cheaper coins, and if you don't live in that country its not that easy to get coins from a certain location. I'm hoping more collectors are willing to find the time to post some of their bargain or lower cost coins. Why let the expensive coins get all the attention? :smile
^Those are lovely. I agree that low priced stuff can be just as nice & sometime better then the high grade fancy stuff.
I agree. I have thousands of coins and most of them I paid less than $5 for. Unfortunately I don't have time to scan them right now, but I share your appreciation.
I have a five to seven hundred coins, with 95% or higher I have paid $2 or less for, most of which are under 50 cents. All of these are in XF to AU condition, other than a few P, G, F and VF coins. I just have no time (I read during rare breaks ), so I haven't posted many pictures period... I have no time to scan either, so no new pictures
Love them all All these coins cost me between $0 and $1 each. The uncirculated coins in the double-wide boxes were $0.25 to $0.50 each.
I paid $7 for this set at a local coin show. The beauty of each coin struck me so that I felt it would be criminal not to buy it........
I picked up my 1978 proof set from Israel for the same reason, just a georgeous set of coins for under $10
picked this one up last week for a buck... have several cheapie world coins incoming also....there are TONS of great looking budget world coins out there.
Always liked George, Terrible thing that his brother did to him by marrying that wench from Baltimore. Sad.....
Two more, I promise...I quit... Okay...one more...and I think this is one of the cooler coins the US has produced, and they are pretty cheap if you don't expect perfection:
Great pics, Drusus! That Polish coin with Jadwiga is one of my favoirtes, and I love the chicken coin from Ireland...never seen one of those before!
