A few very recent pickups from my LCS!

I guess the thread is so old that everyone has run out of things to post. I have some in the queue that need to be imaged. I think we lost a few members along the way too.

 

Karauli - Rupee, 1852 Year 13

 

Cooch-Behar, Devendra Narayan, 1/2 rupee, 1763-1765. Note the similarity to a Bhutan deb rupee.

 

Most of the Cooch Behar 1/2 Rupees I have also have punch marks

 

Here is a punch mark, Mauryan Empire, probably c.321-150BC, AR karshapana. Not yet uploaded to zeno; I see a bull and an elephant, not ID yet.

 

This should be a Ratlam Paisa. The “raij” symbol on the reverse looks a bit off.

 

Mughal, Akbar, AE 1/2 falus, Ujain type. Well struck and centered example. c.1556-1605 AD

 

Sikh temple token, appears to be dated 1804 (below figure on right hand image)

Please do keep posting as it's a great thread. I have a couple of thousand I 'could' post, but they are mostly on Zeno already and nobody wants to see duplicates.

The 1919 and 1920 issues of 8 annas (from Bombay) have small mintage figures: 1.1 million and 1.3 million respectively

 

I have some India coins, but more British rule than anything else. Check out the pair of 1945 1/4 rupees, large 5 and small 5

 

I really do miss Siberian Man. Shared many interesting coins.
Considering where he lived, his collection was huge.

 

This one is a new arrival and only tentatively IDed. Mughal, Muhammad Shah, AE dam, Elichpur, c.1719-1748.
