Which AtB Quarters have you seen in circulation? I’ve seen the higher mintages ones, Chickasaw, Volcanoes & Denali. I’d like to get the kids in the family going with folders to collect them from circulation. I know, little value to the circulated ones, but you know, the thrill of the hunt – but, wouldn’t be much fun until you can find most in circulation.
I've actually found all but Mt Hood in circulation from Denver mint. Only one from Philly mint, and that was actually given to me by a friend who went on vacation to D.C over the summer. What I have yet to find though, was all 6 territories, only found 4!
I've found multiples of each design with the exception of Denal-D and Chaco Culture-D. Granted, I am in Maryland so the Philly stuff is easier for me to find but yeah even the Denver stuff shows up in decent quantity if you search enough quarters.
I've found all of them so far, except this years White Mountain which I don't expect anytime soon. Still missing some Denvers but have several full sets of P's put together. I was worried we wouldn't see many Hawaii Volcanoes since that was/is my favorite design so far but I've pulled quite a few so far.
I've found everything from 2010-2012 except for Olympic so far most are from Denver but I've found a Yosemite and a Grand Canyon from Philly and a Hot Springs and a Chickasaw from both.
I have not been able to find many of the park quarter ones. I have a complete roll set of the regular state ones. I'm thinking of just buying a box of quarters and see what I find. I do it, with half now, when I find them, my bank will not order the boxes now that they have a new supplier. I have been looking for rolls of the new quarters rather than buy them from the mint.
I just got a Chaco Culture P in change from the lobby restaurant in my office building. First ATB I have found.
I got my son a folder for them when they started in '10 but we're having the same problem, in that, we're not finding any. I think we found one in '10. My solution, I ended up buying them at the local coin store and "salting" my change so he could find them. It worked like a champ untill he went to the local show with me late last year and noticed a seller selling them. Now thats all he wants to do, no more change searching.
I started saving them a few months ago. No rolls, just pocket change. I live in District 12. Out of about 320 quarters . 3 Denali 1 Hot springs 4 District of Columbia 2 Puerto Richo 1 American Samoa
I only grabbed $50 in quarters last week and pulled 16 Denali's out of that batch. So far I've pulled 36 of them. By far the most of any ATB I've seen so far. I have 177 ATB's right now. I think I'm gonna release most of the Denali's back into the wild and just hold on to the lower mintages.
