Two boxes of halves: Two 40% and a full roll of bright and shiny 1989 D's.

No update on the situation, I'm going to go in and talk to a banker tomorrow, hopefully that might clear things up. Overall it looks like I'm going to need to open another account. Do you guys think that just a savings account would work, or do I really need a checking account?

What kind of foreign coins was it? You find much foreign in halves?

I've only found one, and it was a silver Greek coin.

Not many, no. One was a 2009 Panama half, and the other was a 1989 Jamaican half. Only foreign silvers I've ever found were a Canadian half (last week) and some weird foreign coin from Belgium, I think it was?

Ahhhhhh...my dry spell has officially ended for boxes of halves.

    Halves:
    Box #1 - 90%-2 (64'x2), 40%-7, and a 1987-P

I can breathe easy now. Best of luck to Tabortot for ending his dry spell with boxes of halves! Still diggin' the 1950-D nickel you found Tabor...
Now I am off to bed...good night all!

Wow! Nice box of halves Jlaramie. Great one to end your streak.

Box of Nickels: 33 pre-1960, no Wars, dateless Buff. Nothing spectacular.

Gonna get a box of halves today. Wish me luck...I hope that it doesn't end up being my 11th straight Skunk box.

Skunked on $1,000 in quarters, but one of my tellers saved me a silver half! Nice! A silver plated 1974. Dang. Oh well, at least she has me in mind when she comes across an unusual coin!

My weekly two boxes of nickels and 2 boxes of cents. Both nickel boxes were solid 2012-P. That's $800 out of my last $1100. I am getting hosed on the nickels. First box of cents was typical and I'm 80% through the 2nd and so far only 2...yes...2 wheats. My coin karma sucks lately.

Bag of ikes done. Set aside 161 coins to look at later... amongst them, 2 FEV's, 4 '72 T2, 5 '76 T1, 2 proofs, 2 F-VF coins, a holed coin, and... a 4% or so clipped planchet! The clipped planchet is probably a $100 coin or so, not really sure what they're worth.

  21. While working at a concession stand today I found a '38 Jefferson Nickel! The oldest nickel I've found so far! I also found a Panamanian quarter in one of the rolls - it's the same size and weight as ours.
