Went through $20 in pennies, $20 in nickles, and $35 in dimes today

1x dime in a penny roll
1x dime in a nickle roll
    ^^^^^
Thank you whoever decided to roll those!
    Nickles:
    1x 1940
    1x 1942 (not silver sadly)
    1x 1948
    3x 1954
    2x 1955

    Dimes: Nothing worth keeping
    Pennies: 1X 1889 PENNY!!!

Going to call the bank and ask them if I can buy all of their rolled pennies.

$10 in cents - 3 wheats and a 55 Canadian to fill a hole in my whitman.
$30 in nickels - 3 pre-60, a Bermuda nickel, and a dateless buff. Can't complain though I wouldn't mind finding an IH cent like the other two today...

Nice hit on the dimes, HOTN. I hit up banks after my interview, which went well, and I was even talking about this hobby a bit (Reasons why I switched to night shift) haha. I found $12 loose in halves, all at one Wells Fargo... 3 40% and a Franklin. Not bad. I then went to the coin store nearby and spent $165 lol. I have an addiction.

Actually $1000 face of ikes is slightly heavier than $1000 in halves (assuming they're all clad), just like a morgan has more silver than 10 silver rosies :)

Thanks, it's been a while since I found a loose frankie. Hope your boxes turn around soon, hopefully just a bad week or so.

    Here's some silver porn for you guys, a part of my purchases today;

I'm Jonesing for a silver find. I love the feeling of a nice find, which is what motivates me.

Box #2 of dimes: 1 render (but in a clear pastic roll, meh), and a 1918S Filipinas Ten Centavos! Due to the size difference, it stood out (or in, actually). So I took it for my foreign collection. Then after researching it found that it's 75% silver. Only 8 million made. Nice!
Interesting how the Philippine ceding from Spain to U.S.A. resulted in our minting their coinage in San Francisco.

Hey, it is a small local bank.

Though I'm sure they would let me go with all of their dimes or nickles, as I re-roll them and exchange them :)

Pennies, though, I dump in the coin machine
