This contest should be no contest. Mikem2000 hands down.

 

Not trying to be rude, but does it really matter if it's a proof or not? I didn't make any claims as to it being proof, not proof, or circulated. Post best wheat cent we have, regardless of what it is if I'm not mistaken.

Mikem2000's penny is beautiful, especially for it being 100 years old I will agree with you on that.

 

Of course it doesn't.

"GEM BU" (loosely put: MS65 or higher and "brilliant uncriculated") is associated with business strikes and not proofs. Basically, I only meant it as a friendly correction, and apologize if it came off differently. If anything, you could loosely refer to the coin as being GEM PR.

His cent is actually quite a bit more special and rare than some may realize.

Thanks. Yes I took the picture myself. At the time I was using my wife's old 4 megapixel Sony Cybershot with 2 desk lamps. Photo Editing was done in Photoscape a great free editing software made popular by our own green18
