Here's one of my all time favorites and a rare coin indeed, very low mintage on this 1997 1/10th. :thumb:

I wish I was near a computer to post. Could some honorarily post a 1909 $10 gold Indian for me. I recently started eyeing this piece and I don't think I've ever felt this way about a coin before.........I think......I think I may be in love.

I have a lot of favorite coins, but this is the 2012 coin I enjoy the most and also own. The Royal Canadian Mint crafted the coin using a painting of a noted Canadian artist.

The painting (and coin) is called "Stormy Weather". I really like the idea of them doing this and, to me, the transfer from canvas to coins was executed flawlessly.
I am also posting the painting on which the coin was based.

Oddly enough I would pick a non-Morgan dollar and go with my Gettysburg due to the history, design and low mintage of the coin:yes::thumb: :D.

Unfortunately, there are numerous ticks on the shields on the reverse that would probably hold it back, but who knows maybe someday I'll resubmit it. And it took me awhile to pick this guy up. With a mintage of under 27,000 they are available but not numerous. Next on my list is a Battle of Antietam with a mintage of around 18,000 (that one's going to put me back a few :/ )

Wow! These are so enjoyable to look at. They really used to make some spectacular coins. The designs are so interesting.

I just love this design. It was also my first CAC coin, and my first >$50 coin purchase. Posted elsewhere, but here is a contrasty pic of her that I dont think I've posted before.

Now that's my idea of a beautiful coin Leadfoot. Thats not too far from being a full red, at least by the picture. What does she grade?

I have always said I'm not a big fan of Jefferson Nickels, but that changed when I saw this one.
