    Hi,

I found a Krone in my desk from 1956. Is it worth much? I have attached photos of it for reference.

    Thanks,
    Steven

    :welcome: to CoinTalk!

In XF maybe couple of dollars. I am no good at grading so hopefully someone else will chime in.

    Pretty close.

These are rare and sought after coins in Unc but XF's and AU's are significantly more common and there's very little demand. Unless it's nice and has luster it might not be worth saving. Finding a buyer at the $2.50 catalog price would be a big job probably.

This series was augmented/ replaced in 1958 by a very attractive and now popular series so many of the '56 date were likely saved when still lightly circulated. The coin is quite common in nice VF and F.
