Picking up a box of uncirculated 2001 D halves today so I can make a bag of $1000 in halves to dump.

Oh what the heck go buy some more today.

 

Pretty sweet, I had to beg my wife to up mine to 1k.

 

I sold some personal stock holdings after they hit an auto sell trigger to attain most of my bankroll. If my fiancee tried to tell me what to do with it, I'd laugh her out of the room. It's my money, not ours, lol.

She's quite understanding though and realizes its a great investment.

 

I am with you on that. If my fiancee gave me crap about it I would tell her to go away. We have our personal accounts and a joint account. But she is cool and obviously I just use my account so she doesn't care at all. And like you said, she now understands why I do it and knows I enjoy the hobby.

 

I need to increase my bank roll too, I've just found a couple more banks willing to order me halves. I think I might try provident since I won't have to pay all of the ebay fees. I've got about 53 ounces of silver in 40% halves I'll prob cash in on.

Oh how I want to be sick. Went in to a new bank today to see if I could pick up some halves. Beautiful young teller was working the business services line so I went over to her. Asked is she had any halves and if I could get a box of dimes and nickels from her. She said she had two loose halves and that they had already bounced the vault so I couldnt get anything til they got a new delivery. She asked if I was looking for silver. I told her I was just a collector and anything silver was a bonus. She said look at what a customer brought in an hour ago to cash in for a dollar. She pulled an 1890 Morgan Silver Dollar out of her purse. It was beautiful. She said she just got into collecting recently and that those treasures are the perks of the job!
ugh I want that coin. Maybe if I go back I can get the girl and the coin...lol

$20 CWR 5c 1 40s, 3 50s wowza.
$50 CWR 1c since they were so low on dimes and nickels and I thought what the heck...
























































I am only half way through them and I found something that just about loosened my bowels :devil:

After getting my box with 20 silver coins yesterday, I treated my pickup bank and dump bank to lunch today. Pizzas to both banks! They were happy to see me and they both reassured me that I can continue to dump/pickup coins at their banks.

Also, I picked up another box where I got my great one, not as exciting but it had three: 1964, 1967 and 1968. I'll take it.

I got one more to pick up. Hope it's a killer like the previous one.

 

5 cwr of halves... nothing but I did pick a '52 dime out of a tray. Also picked up 3 ikes.

 

Only grabbed 12 boxes today...
