Anyone bought any coins from auction zip? Seen a few coins I'm interested in and want to know any negatives- besides 13% premium. Thanks.

No, I have not personally, but 13% BP isn't bad compared to HA/TT @ 17.5%

I've bought from auction-zip a couple of times. After registering, it's a pretty simple straightforward process.

The only downside is that you shouldn't expect a deal. ALL the coins I've been interested in sold for full retail PLUS the 13% BP.

What coin is that in your profile picture? Civil War token?

Do they sell one by one? How long is each one up for? Or is it like an eBay list auction?

No harm in registering and bidding......maybe you'll be luckier than I was.

I do see that they require a credit card on file. Do they actually charge it? It says they accept PayPal.

Depends on the auction, but the one's I participated in were similar to ebay in that there was a countdown clock.

No, they should never charge your card without your authorization for any lots won/invoices. A temporary charge of 1 dollar, might appear, but that is just a hold amount that is reversed soon after registration.

Yes. They send an invoice and you pay as you like.
