  3. Leadfoot

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

The owner is mistaken as to its contents?

    You like surprises?

1992 adds up to 21 and you're a blackjack player with a coin problem?

It's really filled with gold, but the owner doesn't know it.

    You like wasting money? (kidding!)

    I give up.

1992 is your birth year? (I have a proof set myself from mine, 1993 :) )

Ha ha ha ha! You got me laughing tonight!

Yes, it has coins in it.

But what "kind" of coins? And yes the seller was mistakin as to its contents or else it would have gone for more than double of what I paid.

It is indeed a silver proof set and not just a Mint proof set???

Would be ever sweeter if it has the 92 wide AM penny (close AM is the norm on the proofs, wide the norm on circulation strikes or so i understand it)

Think I figured it out. The S01 in the bottom set of ID numbers. Looks like a "P" is standard proof, "S" is Silver.

ALL Proof Sets are from the San Francisco Mint.

And, BTW, Wide AM was normal for the 1992 Proofs. 1993 all had close AM while 1994-? had Wide AM for the Proofs and Close AM for the Business Strikes. A close AM on a 1994-? proof set would be worth some money. I suppose on a 1992 set as well.

Well every one minted since 1968 anyway.

Simple math. You said double, and 12xx*2 is 24xx so I guesstimated it was at silver price.

Don't ask me to complex math though. I can't do that. Just simple math.
