Which is why she got stuck all alone on the back page in a blank spot. But you can see she is still peeking out. If you have the original 2007 4 pack, don't unseal the individual coins. I made that mistake before I realized people were going to collect these and that there was an error(mule) coin in the 2007 set. I had one of the mules and it sat in the album for 3 years before I relized I had it. Came back NGC MS68 and paid for a lot of my new pruchases. Now I keep an extra set unopened and buy the individual coins for the album.
The Dansco Lincoln set was fun to build, and reasonably affordable (save for a few keys). It is also easy to pull out and flip through. Very enjoyable. I first assembled a PCGS registry set. Took about 8 years. These photos are a few years old and some coins have been upgraded. But you get the idea. It mostly gem red and above with a few exceptions. This was silly expensive and I wouldn't recommend it. Lance.
Here is a cool folder that has all the .05 Euros from all the countries next to their obsolete .05 coins.
I'm actually taking a break from working on my folders! Whoever said that it's hard work creating a folder, they sure weren't lying! I'll have to get some pics of them when I finish.
They go in the safe with silica packets. In Texas we run the AC year round (it's running right now!), and that takes a lot of humidity out of the air. I have a raw ASE that's sat on my desk out in the open for over 2 years, and it hasn't even started to tone.
John, any chance you could post some more (closer up) photos of those cornerstone quarter albums? I'm interested in maybe picking one up for the ATB and state quarters. However, since no store around me has one I'd be ordering them off the net without really getting a good look at them. Thanks Also when you guys are filling albums from circulation do you put a coin in the album you the first time you run across it in change or roll searching and maybe upgrade later or if you aren't happy with the coin do you tend to leave the slot open and hold off for a better one?
