here is a dare to be different set. Started when they first came out and only cost $3.50 each. Waiting on the 2012 set to be released. Buy 2 sets each, one goes in the album, they other kept intact.

Very nice RaceBannon. I just started my SLQ set. There are some tough ones to find huh? Thanks for posting. Gives me something to strive for.

    Thanks.

The SLQ is one of my favorite US series. I just love the art deco design on the obverse, and the eagle on the reverse is one of my favorite eagle designs on US coinage. They get pretty tough above VF, especially the pre 1925 dates. You will have fun and be challenged to put together a nice set.

Good luck to you and happy collecting!

How about a close up of James Monroe from my Intercept Shield Presidential Dollars album.

I've been building sets in binders so far. I do have one Ike Dansco. Maybe I'll invest in a few albums this year.

I've been buying the bronze medal sets, but have kept them in the original packaging. I thought about displaying them in an album as they look so much nicer that way, but I didn't like how they only provide one space for the two Tyler coins... apparently they printed up the albums before they realized the Mint would issue two separate medals. Oh well, still a great presentation.
