Some of you may have already heard about this, but here's a really cool article about a possible upcoming release for 2015. And this will be a spoiler alert but let's just say we could see a reissue of one of those "wish list" coins we dream about. This might make it a possibility to own one.

It's fresh enough news that it warrants a worthy discussion, and I might see about saving up some dough to get one of these modern issues. Hopefully they will consider doing both the Octagonal and Round variations of the $50 gold.

I did read about the PPIE coins the US Mint will issue. I wonder if the price of the original 1915's will automatically go up in price once the new coins are issued? It's gonna be interesting to see...

I wonder if they are going to go with the old specs of 83 grams, that will make the base gold to be about $4500. And that's not including the mark up that the mint will be imposing upon release. That will be a whopper!

Sorry, that bill was introduced last August and died with the 112th Congress. It will have to start all over again with the 113th. And another problem is both slots for 2015 commemorative programs have already been filled (US Marshalls Service and March of Dimes). there is still one slot open in 2016 and one in 2017. Doesn't make too much sense for a 100th anniversary though.

Ugh, you know how to spoil a party Conder. Oh well, let's see what happens on the 113th.
