Instead of making new threads, feel free to post eBay auctions that make you laugh! I found this half cent that looks like it was in the bottom of a septic tank for 30 years. Yours for JUST $29.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1853-Braided-Hair-Half-Cent-US-Coins-Lot-GSNA-/190774681812?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2c6b0ea0d4
Thanks for the free advertising of my auction. This half cent is a true gem. Looks much better in person. Just kidding I like how they have it in the coin holder. I don't know that leaving it out in the open would cause any more harm?
Sorry, I had two choices either use a coin (which the oldest.coolest coin i have is a 1932 quarter that looks like someone was chewing on it) or break the mold completely
Not nice Mr. Anthony, I suffer from rhintis. That pic was taken right after i got out of the hospital a few months ago.
I thought so. But this is the way all these eBay funny threads go. How much can you talk about a crusty old turd?
I suppose. Maybe you can explain to me why people pay crazy premiums for silver on ebay? Even over what the companies charge for CC transactions?
Simple. Most people are idiots. I used to think otherwise in my youth, but I've become convinced of it time and time again. I can no longer skirt the conclusion that our planet is populated by morons.
Getting back on track here.... I found this on the 'bay today, and it made me laugh. Not only is it not silver, but look at all the bids for it. People these days... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Silver-Dollar-/121043065227?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item1c2eba998b
This one will make you dizzy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/110994932646?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
Sorry to say, but there are probably hundreds of auctions of coins that look just as bad as the original one. Just looking at copper can give me a headache - one of the reasons I very seldom check ebay anymore. No offense to sellers or buyers intended.
