And a slabbed PR69DCAM of Mr. Garfield. Is that the best or what? My thanks goes out to my secret santa, you know who you are.
I'd be happy to post a picture of what my Secret Santa sent to me, but I don't want to embarrass him, especially as it wasn't his fault - it was damaged in transit by the USPS and he has more than generously offered to have it re-slabbed... The slab was cracked into three pieces. He sent a PCGS slabbed 1941 PR64RB penny that had some very interesting toning beginning... I am looking forward to getting it back and adding it to my collection as I don't have any slabbed pennies yet in my collection. Once again I send a big "Thank You" to my Secret Santa - you know who you are.... I know my recipient got their package as they have posted about getting it and I am glad to see they were happy with what they got. That makes me very happy as well. Merry Christmas to everyone!
Well, I couldn't wait! I got two very funky Mardi Gras tokens and a 1963 proof Franklin half slabbed at PF67! Wow! Thank you Secret Santa!
Oh Rassi, that is a bummer, but a proof 1941 Cent??? Awesome! I'm working on my proof cents and the 41 is the last one on my list. Clorox, We love pics. LGL, As you sometimes say sweeeeet! And Kirk, that is an awesome gift!
I know my person got theirs on the 17th ... hopefully they enjoyed it and will post a pic ... oh and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone!!
Got mine last week, and it's been under the tree until this morning. Thanks Secret Santa! And thank you for including the description of each, as I would have had no idea where to even begin. I had pictures of the reverse, but could not crop out my greasy paws, so I'll post them later when I take these out of the flips to play with them I haven't seen my recipient post their package yet, but delivery conf showed delivered at least a week ago. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas Day!
I am glad you liked them. I don't have a pic of mine, but my Secret Santa gift I got last night when I got home around midnight. I opened it up around 12:30 and it was a coin of Constantius Gallus. For those who don't know, he was the brother of Julian II. My son is named Julian. Five minutes later my wife informed me we are pregnant with our second child! How is that for a Christmas present!
Well, The good news is that of the three packages I mailed on the 15th (two USPS and 1 UPS) --- two have arrived at their destinations by yesterday. But that leaves the one here that seems not to. So, cheer up whoever has mine, it should be there soon! or maybe they are just trying to figure out how to deliver your present Keep up the cheer!
I finally got to open mine! I received a bunch of chocolate coins and a super 2012 Canada $20 silver Christmas coin. Great presents Secret Santa. Thanks! And special thanks to Cannyn for organizing this years exchange. Very well done. Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year. Joe ps. What varieties should I look for on the chocolate Kennedy halves?
