I don't have much in the Buffalo department. Hopefully coin-dexter will catch wind of this thread and post his stunners. PCGS MS65
I like Buffalo nickels. One of the classic US coin designs in my opinion. I've assembled a set in VF. Here's my 37 D three leg variety in VF25. The slab scratches on the reverse are annoying. I've tried to photoshop them out, without success.
her Nice one Larry. There is just nothing like proof buffalos, I wish that they made the entire series.
What's really sad is, I caused it. I stuck a 2x2 with staples, in my pocket, with the slab. It's not wise to drink and walk a coin show.
So, do these qualify?? The 2011 circulation 25-cent, in which some of them were coloured, and the 2011 Wood Bison $10 silver coin. I really should get some better photos of the $10 silver coin, it is beautiful with a simple design. It is one in a series of four coins designed by Canadian Aboriginal artist Corrine Hunt. Other coins available in this series include the Orca Whale, Peregrine Falcon and the Boreal Forest - the Orca Whale is by far my favourite.
Gee, I usually can't reply on these kind of topics.... I actually have something on topic. Although I don't have the Buff nickel... I have the Buff Dollar that was issued a few years ago. It was one of the first gifts I received from my brother that got me involved in coin collecting.
Awesome Buff proofs guys. That three legger is very cool too. Those with scratches on your slabs... I know there is that slab renew product available. However, I use the scratch remover polish for cars. It works fantastic. Just remember to polish in the same direction you have the lighting going.
