old chinese coin

    Hi, i just started collecting when i received my mothers collection. I have one coin that i know virtually nothing about other than that it was given to me by a close chinese friend of the family who is no longer alive and one marking on it might be Ching Dynasty.. im pretty sure its authentic ill pist a picture!
    If its a replica im sorry for the waste of everyones time

    I don't know anything about Chinese coins but I'd like to see a picture!

    From what if found out about it, the side with 2 symbols, the one on the left is call a "Boo" which puts it in the Ching Dynasty which could be anywhere from 1500 -1790 (providing my research is correct)

    btw yesterday Forbes - in an antigold article - ran a stock photo of some of those and called them "gold coins."
    All that glitters is not Gold, obv.

    Too bad there were no close ups or talk of the coins themselves... just gold value in general thanx though
