I will post my bad pics tomorrow and when I get the chance I will send to Robec for imaging. The 36 has some great colors to it but they had it marked as imperfection I am assuming because of a few carbon spots that look like little rainbows on it when viewed thru the loupe.
Like I said bad photos lol still working on my image skills. These I took using my phone. Anyways here is the 1936 proof I picked up for $16.50 and the 1970 for $1.00 thanks to Robec. I will be sending these off to him for imaging as soon as he has time. Thanks again Robec for the lead on this great find.
u need to send that 36 to badness and see what he can do with it. Still a great buy !,,,, spots like that can be trickly to condition. Thad, what's your opine on the carbon spots... treatable ?
I tried taking better images of the 1936 Lincoln Proof I picked up for $16.50 with Robec. Still not as good as some of the other photographers here but hey I am trying lol.
Heres another Lincoln Proof I picked up while I was with Robec. I got this one for $1.00 as well. It is hard for me to capture the colors this beauty has but for now it will have to do.
Nothin impresive but they are mine. The second 64 here I was told was burnt but I just dont see it??? Maybe I can get some input from you guys on it.
Bid on this last night and won. Can't wait to see what it really looks like. I'll post my photos after arrival
That reminds me of the old way to submit coins to the TPG's: coin in a polybag inside a PVC flip. I just started to image my toned ASE's as well. Here is one.
