1945 wartime nickel value

    I found a 1942 with no mintmark. Is it anything special?

    No, they made both regular issue nickels and war nickels in 1942.

    Not with all collectors. I can say, I wouldn't be interested and if I were to make an offer, I'd likely make an offer below melt value. Why buy damaged coins that were cleaned when I can find others problem free for or at melt value? ;)
