Handful of Canadian, GB (& Commonwealth) & French coins, how did I do?

I know that I did well, but I want to get an idea on how I did:

Bought the following all together:

1921 1 Franc Swiss (EF)
1953 1/2 Franc Swiss (EF)

1958 Canadian 1/2 Dollar
1928 Canadian 5 cent (EF)
Canadian dimes: '32, '36, '39, '43, '47 (Maple leaf), '50
Canadian Quarters: 1905 (difficult to grade), '16, '17, '42, 47 (Maple leaf), '50

Great Britain:

G.B. Shillings: 1911, 1915
G.B. Half Crown: 1935
Australian Shilling 1943S
G.B. 6P 1916
Australian 3P: 1943D x2
South Africa 3P: 1929

France 10Fr 1965

All that for $100 even. ASW is 3.55

You got the whole lot for just about melt. The earlier Canadian dimes and quarters sell for well over scrap and the European better than scarp as well. I'd say you did GREAT!

 

The George V nickel 5-cent series is very prone to weak strikes, and a lot of folks, including coin dealers, underestimate the grades of that series. How much lustre is on that 1928 EF 5-cents? Can you post a photo of both sides??

 

I'll try to do so tomorrow. I'm also guestimating the grade because I don't have a guide (like for US coins), but am trying to use the same principles. It certainly has much more detail than my other George V nickels.

 

I'd say you did pretty good. Unless they're really beat up, Swiss silver and those 10F Hercules rarely go that close to scrap price. I'd love to see some photos as well!
