Morgan vs. Peace

If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the Morgan dollar or the Peace dollar?

Is there any other coin than the Morgan Dollar that is collected?

 

peace for me, lower mintage is why.

 

Peace for me. To me the design is superior, despite it's issues with strike quality.

 

I really like both. I gotta give it to Morgans if I had to pick one, but its basically 51-50.

 

Theresa was much better looking than Anna.

 

Peace, the design is more interesting to me and the set is more attainable.

 

In the other poll, Peace vs. Trade, I voted for Peace.

But here, I have no doubt...Morgan forever :thumb:

peace dollars are nice but they just don't move me the way morgans do. is as simple as that

 

Peace - she's good looking & with my meager coin fund will be able to complete a set in MS grade.

 

Peace Dollars. IMO, Morgans are ugly as sin.

 

Based on your avatar, I would have thought that you were a Morgan guy all the way. You know, rainbow toning and all.

 

I just don't really like the Morgan design. If I have to have a beautiful coin with toning I will get a Merc or something.

peace dollar here, the keys aren't as bad as the keys to morgans

 

I am not a fan of the Peace Dollars, they to rarely have the look I like so I would choose Morgans.

 

Morgans look VERY 19th Century.
Peace are definitively 'modernist.' IMO

Highest prices commanded, there's no question what Mr. Market says: doubt that's a function of mintage, either. The coin collecting masses have spoken!

 

I like both, but you can actually complete a set of Peace dollars and a 1921 Peace dollar is special.
