Here are a couple of the group shots of the Morgan Toners. I've had them all posted individually, but not recently as a group. These represent coins that were obtained as toned Morgans for not insane prices, and will probably stay around this number, plus or minus one or two. The idea was to assemble a "real world" toned grouping, without spending $5000 for a key date that was toned, or $1000 for a common date Morgan. Here they are, and as I said, not going to post individual shots, as they have been shown before.
very nice at the moment I have a grand total of 1 toned morgan hehe. I will get more (and like you agree I won't pay no 1k premium for pretty colors )
Sounds good. Average price for these coins was in the neighborhood of about $120 a coin. Some of the MS 65 and 64+ and star coins were in the $200-240 range, but they average around a hundred plus or minus.
The one I have is an 1879 Raw AU with minor toning. I think i paid a max of about 55 for that one. Honestly I could see paying an extra premium of 50 even maybe 100 over value for a nice toner but some of these asking prices i see are plain outragious (that $1200 toner someone posted the other day is a good example.)
