I got rid of my senior special phone and now have an iphone and here is my 1st coin photo plus it edited using photoscape
With a phone, sometimes it works to use a loupe behind the lens so that you don't have to use digital zoom as much.
i use the macro setting on my android and let it auto adjust i wouldnt reccomend using zoom or a loupe imo it doesnt turn out as good
I use the Pro HDR application on my iPhone 5, to get a little more dynamic range. This was taken with my iPhone:
Did you guys know that WingedLiberty uses a camera phone for his photos? Outstanding results fellows........
Well, when he was new 'round here he used to employ it. I remember commenting to him about some of those early results and he assured me it was 'the phone'. I was amazed.
dwhiz, No doubt an iphone can be used to take decent images, however it appears you didn't have macro turned on when you took that picture.
Macro ? Does it have that, I'll have to check it out. I must admitt I know very little about this thing and I'm just learning. Thanks for letting me know
