Found this in a pile of junk silver. Doesn't look like junk to me. I think it's XF at least, but I'm not sure if it was just well cared for or if it was gently cleaned. I don't see any polish lines or scratches. Your opinions would be appreciated. What's it worth???

    Thanks

Can either of you put a value on it?

I have the same opinion of the grade. My Googling isn't giving me a good answer to what it's worth (can't check eBay right now).

Great find in the junk silver!

I'd imagine it's probably in the range of $25-40. How much did you pay?

This is a rather common issue and has problems, so while a nice find as junk, its "value" is no where near that of a nice graded or gradable example. Common problem seated material are dime a dozen, but still sell. My feelings as to what it is worth do not necessarily coincide with what the average buyer might pay, so you may want to search completed ebay listings. This should at least give an idea/range of what similar coins bring.

Based on ebay sales I'd say worth at least $20, could get as much as $50 potentially I think........

EF 40, but lightly cleaned. Nice junk bin find. Once THOUGHT I found a 1934 d ddo large mm. Then I found out it wasn't and wanted to return it. Unfortunately i lost the receipt.

I think the fact that this was a "pedigree" drove the price up somewhat.

I'm thinking it is good, just the washed out lighting for the photos making it look cleaned.
