Lincoln Cent vs. Jefferson Nickel

If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the Lincoln cent or the Jefferson nickel?

I already voted for Jeffersons, but I appreciate the propaganda anyway

 

Lincoln cent, only if it is a Lincoln wheat cent

 

i think the majority of collectors start with lincolns. i rather enjoy collecting them and if i had to choose it would be lincolns.. really tough though because it is much harder to find nice mint state jeffersons at affordable prices when you get into the early ones

 

I depends on how involved you want to get. There are more Lincolns, more grades, and they can be more expensive.

I am, and always will be, a Lincoln Cent guy. So there's my vote.

I collect both. If I had to choose, I'd choose the Lincolns. There's a lot more research done on them so there are more ways to collect them. Though unless I get really really rich, I'll never have a complete mint set of them.

 

This is the first vote that was truly difficult for me, but I voted with my collecting heart and went with the Jeff.

The new nickels are scary. I vote for the lincoln cents (wheat and memorials).

 

Jeffs for me, because I prefer nickels and have actually sold my "valuable" Lincolns recently to fund my collection.

 

Wheat cents by a small margin..

 

Your propaganda has no flaws. Those coins are b-e-a-utiful and once I ever finish up my Lincoln set, Jeffy's like those are next.
Just can't break the love of MS6xRD/BR Lincolns.
