I never much collected the US issues till I picked a roll of commemorative dollars from an online dealer a few years ago. They were described as without packaging and COA, but heck, who cared? I only wanted the silver. Turns out I got a few Olympic coins in the mix.....

Opps.....wrong reverse on the '88. Sorry. I don't think I have a reverse shot of that one. Maybe one of you kind folks can help me out.

I got a couple proofs that way too - they were sold slightly above melt and I was just after the silver content. Turns out I'm pretty happy with a couple of them too.

Like most of us numb skull modern types, I like to collect the commem's in OGP but I couldn't pass on the deal that this seller was offering. I think my favorite of the Olympic (US) series is the 'Nolan Ryan' (XXV Olympiad) Denver (unc) dollar. Beautiful edge lettering on that one.

I don't have photos available right now, but there is also a series of Canadian quarters with Winter Olympics events on them from the last few years as well as a series of British 50 pences with Olympic events from recent years.
