Also, if it does turn out to be an error, it would depend on what type of error it was and who would be interested in it as far as how much it might be worth. Then again, many "errors" (those that people think are errors but others are saying are PMD or something) aren't worth anything outside the normal value of a non-error, non-variety coin.
Photo is too far away and blurry to tell anything. Try getting a straight-on shot of the area in question. Does anyone know if quarters can get plating blisters? I know cents can...
